We welcome submissions from passionate youth who want to express their ideas, insights, and opinions through writing. Whether you’re an experienced writer or just starting, our platform is open to fresh perspectives on youth issues and emerging national/global challenges.
Writers can submit pieces in English. We currently accept two formats: Op-Eds and Policy Briefs. Your submission should be original, well-structured, and clear in message. Plagiarism is strictly not allowed. All drafts must be submitted in a Word document.
👉 Recommended word count:
- Op-Eds: 600 to 900 words
- Policy Briefs: 800 to 1,200 words
Before submitting, make sure your piece aligns with YOP’s values: it should be constructive, solution-oriented, and fact-based. We encourage writers to cite credible sources and avoid hate speech, disinformation, or overly politicized content.
Once reviewed by our editorial team, you will receive feedback and guidance (if needed) before the final publication on YOP’s official platforms.

Mr. Siraj Rehmat is the President of YOP’s Gilgit-Baltistan Chapter, leading youth empowerment initiatives. He focuses on social, political, and environmental awareness, creating opportunities for youth development in the region.
